Sylvia knitted a cashmere branch using Caitlin Hunter's instructions. And she was allowed to wear it straight away at the EYF 2018 in Edinburgh. She loves her cozy cashmere sweater, which keeps you warm in the cold. You don't sweat in heated rooms either.
She used 10 balls of cashmere wool in anthracite CA14 and 2 balls of cashmere wool natural 01 with needle sizes 3.75 and 4 (with a relatively tight knitting style).
Compared to the original pattern, the neckline has been knitted larger. The laceyoke has been adjusted to size L. The rest is more like size M. It has also been knitted longer and the cuffs are made in corrugated ribbing.
Sylvia's conclusion: a perfect model for a perfect yarn.
Cashmere is ideal for stranded knitting. I didn't expect it to be like this. The stitch pattern is very clean and clearly contoured.
