Our love for alpacas
In Peru we fell in love with this fantastic raw material. Alpaca wool is a 100% natural fiber that was valued by the Incas in the Peruvian Andes as early as 5000 BC. Alpaca wool was more valuable than gold in the Inca era.
Our mission is to continue to show the world the wonderful properties of alpaca fiber.
The experts for alpaca wool
With more than 12 years of experience in the alpaca industry, we are the largest importer in Germany and know alpaca inside out. With more than 30,000 satisfied customers, we guarantee alpaca products of the highest quality and with our experienced team, we offer you the best quality experiences.
Our principle
Alpaca wool is no longer expensive!
The Hansa-Farm® project, founded in the summer of 2012, has found a way to sell alpaca wool in high quality, but still at very reasonable prices. The principle is simple: the alpaca wool is only offered in 200g and 300g units, so that it is possible to buy larger quantities directly in Peru. We completely avoid middlemen in our sales in order to make the alpaca wool affordable in Germany, while our producers in Peru can enjoy fair prices.
Frequently Asked Questions
Returns and Refunds
Can I only buy sets?
Can I only buy sets?
With our concept, we only sell finished sets that are pre-packaged in the European country of origin. This is the only way we can reduce processing costs to a minimum and offer you the best alpaca wool at unrivalled prices.
Why do you only offer limited colors?
Why do you only offer limited colors?
As a rule, a color selection of around 20-30 colors is completely sufficient. We have found that with a larger color selection, our customers often cannot decide or the return rate increases. This also allows us to concentrate on the bestsellers, produce larger quantities and thus reduce costs.
I don't need that much wool. Can I buy less?
I don't need that much wool. Can I buy less?
No. The processing costs for individual balls of yarn would be significantly higher and we would have to add these costs to the price. This contradicts our concept. You will certainly find a use for leftover wool or you can give it to your knitting friends. Even if you only need just over 50% of the wool, your knitting project will usually still be cheaper than the competition.
