A small gauge sample can save you a lot of frustration!

#5: The detergent must be right
To enjoy your knitted item for a long time, you need to care for it properly. Make sure you choose a detergent that is specifically designed for wool or delicate fabrics - simple soap or shampoo are not a good choice for your valuable knitted items.
